Description:  Gov. Terry Branstad is Iowa’s longest-serving governor and is working with Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds on a round-the-clock focus on economic development, successfully landing billion-dollar projects for Iowa and expanding agriculture and trade opportunities from around the world.  They have made job-creation their focus, and we’re seeing great results. Iowa’s unemployment rate has dropped to 3.5%, the ninth lowest in the nation. They remain committed to bringing more high-quality jobs to Iowa and will continue working to attract business and industry to our state.
