- Outline the May 1, 2020 notable requirements. Owners have until May 1, 2020, to comply with the modified version of A17.3.
- Code applies to elevators roughly 20 years old and older
- Elevators that have been recently modernized typically will not need any A17.3 upgrades
- The work needing to be done depends on factors specific to each elevator such as the original model, installation details, upgrades, and maintenance.
